Sang live on Radio yesterday :c)

A friend of mine just started a little production company called Les ?ph?m?res where she organises one show per month with 4 different singer songwriters every month and I'll be part of the august 26 gig.

She was invited to talk about it at CKUT McGill University's radio station wich spread pretty wide and is available through the Net. She had voices problems so she couldn't do the singing part and invited me to be part of the interview and do the singing. So I sang two songs and gave a little interview. I missed a full day at work for this 20 minutes gig/interview but if I don't want to work at this job all my life and live of my music I need to make sacrifice when opportunity knocks.

I should have dropped the headphone for the second song though, I wasn't hearing myself well in it and kind of sub sang. I was flat pretty much the whole song but it wasn't a disater. The interview part was short but cool and the first song went A-ok.

When I came back home my gf told me my son was pretty impressed about hearing me on the radio and tried telling me something thinking I would hear him. When I arrived home he had made me a card saying he was proud of me. [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img]
